Zacapa Rum website

Ron Zacapa is a premium rum brand from Guatemala. What makes Zacapa unique is that it is matured at 2300m; this helps to form Zacapa’s rich, complex taste. The website idea is based on height, allowing the user to discover the remarkable story of Zacapa by navigating the content at different altitudes. www.zacaparum.com

I-jusi #27: The music issue

Contributors to ijusi magazine were asked to design an album cover for they favourite or fictional band. I decided to do cover art for the fictional band 'ijusi' as featured in the book 'Zoo City' by Lauren Beukes.

Benecol

|| Website redesign and branding design ||

Benecol is a range of foods that can help to lower the body’s intake of cholesterol – the brand was perceived as too medicinal. In conjunction with redesigned packaging an online rebranding exercise was undertaken to reposition Benecol as a more accessible lifestyle choice. www.benecol.co.uk

E4 sting

I challenged the young designers in our team to enter the yearly E4 (UK tv channel) stings competition. Facilitating brainstorm sessions and art directing. Our entry encapsulated the breadth of E4 programming in the allotted 10 seconds.

Orange speed tool

|| Microsite design ||

The brief was to come up with a solution to help ‘technologicaly challenged’ Orange customers demistify download speeds of the broadband packages on offer.
I created an online interactive tool demonstrating the difference in real time. To make it less intimidating to the user the design was made to look tangible. I constructed the demo tool out of cardboard and used it as the interface to make it look as real as possible.

British Library: Save and delete campaign

|| Campaign identity, Branding, Integrated campaign ||

A pitch proposal for an exhibition in conjunction with the cultural festivities of the 2012 Olympics. The big idea was to engage and educate the youth in deciding what digital treasures should be saved alongside treasures of the past. A combination of traditional advertising and social media channels would encourage participants to discuss and curate the final exhibition.

Velvet tissue website

To support Velvet’s new sustainability brand positioning of ‘Luxury for you. Trees for the planet’ we were tasked to redesign the website. The design brief was to support the launch of the above, the above the line advertising and to incorporate design elements of the TV ad. www.velvettissue.com
